ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I’m struggling to enjoy their recent dip as much as I should due to our pathetic showing at Anfield in the 1st half. They haven’t played well all season, even in the games they’ve won, yet in classic Moyes fashion we went to Anfield petrified and by the time we realised on the day that there’s something not right with them we’d given ourselves too much to do.

For all of Moyes’ good traits, he will never win at Anfield in his life, which for an Everton manger isn’t exactly something you want.

We should have started their rot. We should have beaten them twice last season and should have got something from them this season. It’s the worst derby performances I’ve seen from Liverpool in a long time and yet Everton were too cowardly to punish them.

Mate said he was going to a ‘Liverpool pub’ to watch the game. I said aren’t all pubs Liverpool pubs on match days. He just said you’re jealous because of the number of fans we’ve got. I said I’m jealous of your success but not of your plastic fans who’ve never been a game. Haven’t heard from him since the game.

Perfect time to message him and ask him how was it in the pub.

Peak Van Dyke today was him smashing the ball into his team mate’s face, then yelling at him for having the temerity to put his face there.

Seems like a dreadful fella.
He is a dreadful fella. Don’t know how the story about him cheating on his wife got swept under the carpet when he was at Celtic. It was with Scottish porn star Georgie Lyall when his wife was pregnant in 2014. Whenever I bring it up, nobody believes me, “not Saint Virgil” they cry!!

….tourists.

They have more ST holders who live more that 100 miles from the stadium than any other club.

The swathes of ST purchased for use in tourist industry is amazing. Problem is, that model falls apart when the team are struggling, remember the Hodgson era when they were literally giving tickets away in the pub.

It’s perverse in a way how the worse Everton perform, the more tickets we seem to sell or be in demand.

The contrariness of scousers never fails to surprise…obviously only applies to Evertonians!
