If you think what he’s done this season is ‘great’ then this is exactly the type of sentimentality that holds us back.

He has not been in the same universe as ‘great’ at any point. ‘Miles better than Tarkwoski’ is not the same as being great.

It's been widely reported that the alternative to keeping Keane was to buy Adam Webster, who is absolutely not better than him at all. It was obvious to most of us that someone like him was the alternative, but some weirdos wanted to make out like it was a choice between keeping Keane and signing Saliba.

Could probably do with another RB brought in over the winter with a view to giving JOB more time in the centre now.

We’re conceding more than a goal a game and have got 2 clean sheets in 8 games. If he was playing ‘great’ then we’d be defending better as a team. He’s been better than his usual very low standards in my opinion.

If this is true then for me it's 100% time to move O'Brien to CB and Garner to RB. We need at least one CB sat on the bench in case of another injury. Playing all three every game is bordering on stupidity when we have no other cover. With Rohle now fit we have options in midfield.

Garner offers more offensively than JOB and Rohl will learn his trade playing alongside Gana. I agree I think it would improve us as a side.
