Hope you have a good season. I’ve got a lot of respect for Everton and its fans, and even did the Goodison tour last season. Loads of my family are Evertonians from Huyton, Childwall and Knowsley. There’s nothing scabby about them or my half-scouse self, as far as I know.

No you're right mate IMO, we got rid just at the right time as he was taking us down.
He might well get you guys on an even keel but it's more likely your chairman will take you down rather than any manager he may appointment.

Ultimately he managed us for 74 PL matches and won 21 with terrible football to boot. We scored 74 goals in 74 matches, conceding 103.

One of the issues with Dyche is he's a very streaky manager. We won 13 matches with him in his first full season and also went on a run of 13 matches and 3 and a half months without winning a match. We won 3 of 20 matches in his second full season (I say full, he was sacked in January) at the club.

We also benefited from absolutely terrible promoted teams in his first full season with us (and the following one) which doesn't seem to be the case this season.

It's going to be laborious going to the match for you and I can't see Europe going well at all. I think with the quality in your squad that you may stay up ahead of Wolves, Leeds, Burnley and Brentford but don't get tricked into thinking "He's never had quality players to play better football and just needs the chance' because he had that with us last season and not only did he show himself up but Moyes showed him up instantly as well.

Take him until the end of the season, give him his payoff and get Silva in ASAP.
