2025/26 David Moyes

What a strange outlook.

Bewildering
Why
He’s a negative manager,
Safety first, always playing the hardluck card. Holding on to tight defeats against the best teams, so he can say look how
Well we did. We’ve won 3 games and in 2
Of them we were very fortunate. Ok Villa we should win, but Leeds and west ham
Poor performances .

He will never change and i
Didn’t want him back for this reason.

Moyes even mentioned goal difference in his presser after the game,
That is small time mentality and utterly embarrassing, that explains brining on a midfielder to
Play on the wing at 2-0. Keep it at 2-0 boys
Could make all the difference from
13th to 12th
It’s the experience of what actually counts in a long-term campaign. The same plums who moan about not going gung ho and that losing 5-0 wouldn’t matter would be the first to complain if we lost out on Europe on goal difference at the end of the season.

We invested in yoot.

Yoot takes time to show the fruits.

Its harsh on Dibbers, but hes not sitting on the bench behind Jack Harrison, hes gonna have to wait and not to write him off, he never really took his chance when given, granted in a proper plop side. Same with Charly, hes started a few games now and hasnt really looked as good as he does coming off the bench. Think this Moyes fella just might know his footy better than morons, like me, who post on a footy forum.
There's still lots of time for Dibling and Barry to prove they were worth their fees but there's also still a worthwhile discussion to be had over whether spending on youth projects over immediate help to the first team was the wisest investment (a right back and a different more expensive striker might have been possible?).

It's one that won't be answered definitively for a long time.

It is a valid concern that only KDH and Grealish have appeared to improve the first 11 at the moment. There's definitely an argument to suggest we may have been too early to spend so much of our budget on project players at this point.

We're like someone who just went through a load of rehab after a car crash (or series of crashes) learning to walk again. Maybe a new set of crutches instead of some fresh dancing clogs would have been wiser.

12th is about where I expect us to be around so I'm not at panic stations yet because we failed to get a result at City away of all places.

Which begs the question, who did sign these young long term investments, I doubt it was Moyes, cos I suspect he knows hes not here long term.

In short it makes a total mockery of the people who claim Moyes had full control of transfers, of which at 1 point I was 1.

I don’t believe he’s negative, nor safety first.

He’s been brilliant since returning, we haven’t had any performances that showcase any of your lazy shouts above.

It’s quite clear you don’t like him, so you’re making things up to suit your agenda.

We were better than City yesterday for most the game and got outfoxed by the best CF in world football.

Perhaps if we had a goalscorer it would be different, but we don’t.

We were not remotely negative yesterday, or even at Anfield.

It’s such a weird hill to die on.

If Moyes didn’t want Dibling or Barry then we wouldn’t have signed them. Who exactly are you claiming pushed for signing them?!

we looked really negative yesterday like 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Again who exactly? Moyes wanted a recruitment team FFS.
The 20+ scouts who were here before Moyes and have remained here since Moyes took over?

Do you believe a manager brings the entire scouting team with him? And in the same thought process, do you think an entire scouting team leaves when a manager does?
