January Transfer Window 2026

Well, only 10 players in the entire league scored more than him. Only one Real Madrid player scored more than him.

Can we not just agree that 11 goals in La Liga is a decent return? Not earth shattering, but decent.

He outscored Yamal, Griezmann, Torres, Belingham, Silva, Olmo etc.
He’s a striker though, all of those either played wide/midfield or only occasionally play up top.

I’d still like to think he’ll be fine and make the step up but I think we’re that demanding it is going to take some mentality from the kid to turn it around. Starting to go a bit Moise Kean.

He obviously has something about him, he has scored double digits every season he has played. Apparently he took some time to settle and start scoring at Villareal last season, so maybe he is just one of those players that does take time to acclimatise to new leagues and cultures.

But after Kean and Chermiti, a lot of our fanbase just won't give him that time 🤷‍♂️

Pretty much my thoughts mate.

Said it before but one of our senior pros like a Coleman/Tarkowski need to have a word and just get him working. Work hard and he’ll buy himself time and maybe make his own luck.

We really need to sign a new striker if he doesn't want to give Barry a run. The difference yesterday in the game was one team with a world class striker that is clinical and the other side having a wasteful one. Haaland has those chances Beto does and we go 2-0 up and we see the game out. Imperative we sign one. It's costing us points every week.

Not convinced Haaland would of scored the first one to be honest. Its a fruitless argument anyway as we can't buy the Haaland standard strikers in the world so we'll have to accept we'll not have a striker who'll always convert (newsflash Haaland misses chances too but he gets more goes at it) No doubt you'll suggest Chris Wood again now

I think Chris Wood would be a good Moyes striker on a 6 month loan deal if their next manager didn't fancy him. The market will be tough in January to get a striker but we need one. We disagree about that and that's fine. Sometimes people on here think we are far better than we are. Chris Wood was in top form for a side that almost finished in the CL last season. He's not some plodder.

Either way, we need one if Barry isn't going to be given a fair run.

They aren’t loaning him out when in a relagation scarp
And I’d think he’d be first choice under dyche. Will go on his summer holiday with a massive headache
Depends really. He might push to leave if he doesn't get an opportunity and if they choose someone other than Dyche that doesn't fancy him.

Ive no idea if he will adapt but how many times do you think i read on here that Chermiti will come good he just needs time. He cant even get a game for Rangers now.
There is absolutely nothing wrong in Everton fans saying they'd have liked to have seen a bit more than they have so far. I love how this fanbase is portayed at times as being impatient. He's not had a shot lol.
