Not really. In the past he's allowed games to pass him by too easily, and almost completely lost any attacking edge to his game.

He's gone some way to reversing both of those and he's definitely one of our better players this season so far.

I like Garner. There's a lot of passion there. Very competitive lad.

Just imagine what he could do for us if he had a mobile and intelligent target man to play balls into.

Give him someone to move clear of a defence and he'll get the ball to them.

Been a revelation this year but was poor today I thought. Gave the ball away a few too many times and wasn't his usual tenacious self once he got booked (which was a poor tackle when the ball was there to be won)

All I seem to see on social media these days is people suggesting that we absolutely need to be moving him to RB asap - despite him being one of our best players this season at CM at JOB playing fine?

Is there a world where he sits in the 6 and Rohl and Iroegbunam push on as the two 8s. We’d actually have an athletic midfield that could match most for physicality then. Will never happen but since McCarthy and Barkley we’ve never had a midfield that can actually run over an opposition.
