2025/26 Iliman Ndiaye

Dunno if playing on the right has forced him to cross more but he's added it to his game.

Thought he faded 2nd half and that's when O'Brien really got exposed for the goals. Did a great job tackling Doku before that.
I like how many times Ndiaye poked the ball from Doku. Ndiaye plays that way but better and won’t be fooled.

Could he have done more to help prevent their goal? Probably.

Other than that though he was exceptional with his doubling up with O’Brien and keeping Doku quiet. Got to the point where you could see Doku even second guessing if he even wanted to try and take him on.

For an attacking wide player his defensive contribution was absolutely top drawer today. Anyone who says differently needs to give their head a massive wobble.

Good dribbler = Good tackler, they know all the tricks.

But it's telling that I never noticed their wingers' defending, they can afford to stay high and attack, Ndiaye has to carry it end to end.

Need a proper RB behind him.
A player like Baines behind Ndiaye transforms us. Again, a RB has to be a priority every window until we secure one.

IF Dyche takes over Forest he wont want an attacking FB - might be opportunity there...

I’ve mentioned this a few times. The first 45 he was world class. Then he fades.
That’s on the manager, he should be using the squad and subs much better.

Illy had just flew all over the shop and played two full matches for Senegal, as did Idrissa. No wonder they were goosed.

We have options now, Moyes isn’t using them properly.
