Out of the 11 starting players he did the least. At one point I forgot he was on the pitch. I’ve a feeling he’ll be decent against the weaker teams but will flatter to deceive against the better teams.

He’s a Moyes favourite though. If he’s fit he’ll play

But moving Alcaraz central and taking KDH would of been a much more positive change

Yes! Very much so. Jack is breaking out of the support role to take chances at goal. KDH is cautious and fancies himself the set up guy. We need aggressive midfielders who are goal scorers.

It’s good though, we spent 25m or whatever on a 27 year old who has quickly shown to probably not be the best option at the thing we bought him for and now we’re trying to justify it by asking him to do something else that he last did for a team that sunk like a stone. Not to mention he’s just clearly not athletic enough to cover real ground at this level. There’s one moment a game where that shows up which is the cause of a few yellows already and was close to being another today but the soft foul on Doku got whistled.

I prefers alcaraz as our 10...much more purpose and much more direct. Unfortunately this guy will continue to start every match for moyes, and alcaraz probably back on the bench next week which would be unfair on him.
