New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I think the fact they built it out of containers tells its own story on that front.

It was very much a stop-gap opportunistic venture.

I imagine there will be permanent property they can lease somewhere close by when the development is done, should they wish.
Possibly, there whole selling point was the view of the stadium which would be lost

Oh look...a multi-storey car park 👀 ;)

We're currently in negotiations for extending our lease on it - presumably for decades.

That video is a visualisation, nothing more.
In talks to buy it aren't we? We've already extended the lease. Well, when i say 'buy it' will be on the same terms as the stadium i imagine.

After a home game and meeting someone to get a lift to Manchester where would people recommend to meet the car?

Thanks for all help
I’d meet them at the bottom of Bankahll. Head towards Crosby. I do this myself.
But you need to head to towards Crosby, but take a right at Seaforth roundabout towards M57.
You will cut out the City Centre.
You could go M57>M62 to Manchester.
Or M57 then onto the East Lancs road A580.
Depends what side of Manchester you are going.

Once them skyscrapers go up in Clarence / Central docks , thats the South Stand view down to the Pier Head gone 😢
Aye, I was thinking something similar - great that they want to develop the whole area between town and the ground, but we'd better enjoy the incredible views while we can. Also, I hope that is just a general idea, because there is a complete lack of imagination in the types of buildings being proposed. I'd want to see more than just a load of identikit medium-rise housing developments. Hopefully they will use the Hill Dickie as a starting point, along with Stanley Dock, and create something with some real soul.
