I can see lots of opportunities with this, but it's so hard to pay the rent which is always on my mind. Left to my own devices, I probably would. Was it worth it?
Go down the west end and find a West End Girl to help pay the Rent. Why Not Live with her out of wedlock even though Its a Sin? Then take her out to the dance hall for some Domino Dancing and look for other Opportunities. Drico is definitely a man who loves to live in Suburbia after all as he's not a New York City boy

…..only thinking about this earlier today & wondering what had happened. Floodgates could open if this goes Burnley’s way, I think it’s an unsavoury pursuit from them. We should not forget.

Cheers.
I thought it was a closed case though. So unless the clubs agree to publicise the outcome, it shouldn’t technically be known to anyone. Certainly not the detail of it.

Wouldn't it become known in accounts?
I guess that depends. If Burnley win everything they want and there is a £50m payment then yes.

But if it’s a partial win and it’s a few million, it might not be so obvious. And this is when the detail comes into it and why it’s not so clear cut that it will have this big impact on the City case.

Or whether our owners made some arrangement with the takeover (which is why Moshiri accepted less etc) where the money is aside but not through the club. Maybe the owners can just pay it rather than it coming from the club - just as long as Burnley get the money if they are awarded any.

I don't really understand the grievance with Everton. We didn't get to choose which season we would have been deducted points, that was a league decision. They should be demanding compensation from the league. Unless I'm oversimplifying the claim.

And being the only club that will ever have two points deductions in the same season due to the rule change which they gave us no allowance for, that nearly finished us off.

If it’s found that everyone should be put into the same financial position as if our first deduction was applied the season before, then by definition, we have a case to say we would have had more placement prize money in the season where we had the deductions, because 6 of the points deducted should have come off the season before (and we may or may not have rallied to stay up anyway).

There are a billion permutations and the probability of NONE of them can be assessed. Maybe if we were even more desperate for points Dom would have taken a dive in the box and won a penalty keeping us up. Or he could have been sent off for simulation and we go down.

The case shouldn’t have gone anywhere near this far. And actually it may have been better (though disgusting) if we’d put it to bed early with a small cash settlement.

Ah Marcus, you only love me when you’re drunk. It’s alright, though. Love comes quickly and you don’t have to be vocal about it with a flamboyant pop kid like me. I think it’s time for me to go west now to where the streets have no name, because I can’t take my eyes off you and I don’t like jealousy (even if it’s a great song). I’m leaving now because every time I see you my heart starts missing a beat but at least we were never being boring.

OMD next?
