2025/26 David Moyes

I do not care one single bit of we lose every game at the sky 6 as long as we win enough other games to compensate.

Dunno why people fixate on this.

Why is an away game against Man Utd or whoever more important than a game against Fulham? They count for exactly the same number of points
Any win is good, but I get a much bigger buzz watching us beat a top six side.

I don't expect Moyes to win at Man city , even though man city have a superior squad to us they have looked more vulnerable than they have during previous seasons . Brighton were able to beat them on the break , I feel like we can half a chance to win if we actually go at them a little like we played Liverpool in the second half , if we opt to just sit back like we did in the first half at Liverpool we'll likely struggle. City don't like to be pressed if you give them to much time with the ball they'll comfortably dispatch us. I just want moyes to try to win the match instead of damage mitigation.
you know that's not going to happen, we are going to get the Everton 1st half v Liverpool 100%

No id prefer a manager who tries more in this respect. Id personally would have a lot of patience for a manager with a different attitude, if it took them a couple seasons to build up. With Moyes I feel very sure there's no surprises coming. Happy he has us stable, great job done but I'd prefer a change in summer.
I'd like to know how much input Alan Irvine has on how the team is set up after all these years .

  You posted this☝️about a minute after posting this in another thread 👇
fair play 👏

To be honest I am normally really positive in general, its just when we play top 6 teams we always seem to bottle it and not turn up, that is frustrating as I know we are better than that and a little self belief with the correct tactics will change the narrative on this 😉

He shouldn't ever be forgiven for actively aiding our elimination from the LC against Wolves.

That was just sheer arrogance born of a clear contempt for fans' wishes to grasp a great opportunity to progress in that competition.

That's what he is. That's how he rolls.

It informs all his decision making - including not giving a flying one what it looks like that he employs half his family at the club's (i.e. fans') expense.
Don’t be such a tit.

Half his family? You mean his son? Did you kick off about Davide Ancelotti?

But also, I’m confused about why you are kicking off about the Carabao Cup. As based off these, you clearly don’t value it and have an incredibly low view of it anyway. Maybe you and Moyes have more in common than you think……

You have a very short memory David.

As can be seen in the post above, you are a poster who`s frequently supported us losing or throwing games, just to put the blocks of whatever title challenge our neighbours are on.

Just don't do what you did at Liverpool and be overly respectful to a side with a defense that can be hurt. Actually try and play in the first half, please.
You do realise teams like City and Liverpool, their whole game is built around not letting the opposition play.

If only it was as easy as go out and attack them, maybe they both wouldn't have won so many Titles.

Yes nostrodamus correctly predicted Palace would miss sitters and Pickford would pull off some nice saves.

Because without Palace's failures we'd have been 3+ goals down.

#moyesmasterplan lol
I don't get this, he set his team out and we won. Is Pickford not there to make saves?
We soaked up pressure and hit them with sucker punches.
By the way, we also had some good periods in the game, particularly the second half.

The special one was a master at soaking up pressure and sucker punches. Look no further than the slippy G game

Playing for 0-0 is going to fail 19 out of 20 times. Not saying go all out but not playing and waiting for the inevitable is a losing approach. Gotta give the guys at least a chance to press at times go on the front foot when the opportunity presents itself. What Moyes sent out first half at Anfield was dead wrong and even he acknowledged it. So just don’t do the same thing again.
