Was really looking forward to it but the extra teams, the dynamic pricing, the fact ireland wont qualify has really put a dampener on it. Ill still watch it and probably really enjoy it once its on tho! Can't help but going the atmosphere will be crap. Do they at least hold some tickets back for qualifying teams travelling fans??

I'd like to say I'll give it a miss because its become bloated and is bound to be very "Americanised" - by which i mean full of plastic tatty glitz and vulgar showmanship. But that's not fair to Canada and Mexico, the grown up hosts.

Nonetheless I'll probably watch England games ... only the England games.

I used to watch every match i could and do the wall charts. Now so much money is involved I can no longer watch a game without quickly wondering which team is pre-determined to win to create the golden fixtures bound to keep the sponsors happy. The Hollywood script writers will be paid well no doubt.
