Went today, just to get into the stadium and have a look around.
Ended up watching the whole game though, it was a tough watch.
Quality from us was poor, even when we went in at half time ahead, United had been the better team & it would of taken a lot of riding luck to have gotten away with something.

We lacked composure, we're always under pressure because we couldn't keep possession, then we had to go long & there wasn't any presence up front to keep it when we went long.

Ruby Mace looked really good though, very good passing range noticeably better than our other players, composed on ball & never gave it away.

I felt sorry for Vignola. Isolated all day.

They got to an hour on the clock leading 1-0 and were very fortunate to make it that far without conceding.

The manager should have been looking to go two up top or 4411 because it was an attack v defence training session for United.

Hes as bad as Moyes for not seeing that in-game.

Haven’t seen the game today. Not a big fan of Sorensen at all, but it looks like the starting 11 is becoming more consistent at least. He’s picked 10 of the starters I’d have gone for, apart from Gago (fitness permitting) over Momiki. Hard to see us winning a home league game before the new year, so those away games at villa and West Ham we surely have to get some points to keep him in a job. Did we try the usual backpassing today or were we at least trying to get it forward? And just from watching score updates I’d have been putting Payne or Gago on at 55-60mins while 1-0 up, maybe Ladd as well to try and shore it up.

A good player for United I though was Fridolina Rolfo.
She was a threat and an easy ball to find

All they needed to do was hit a long diagonal to her, shed either win the head, or control it, hold ball up & deliver a ball.

I havnt watched much WSL, but I think United have a very good team

Sorensen supposedly said in the after game stuff that we we did everything we did 1st half and ran out of legs the 2nd half. not helped by Man Utd bringing the players they brought on . It was Man Utd nearly all game bar a few mins in reality. How we didnt concede 4 in the 1st 10mins and none in the 1st half i dont know

Utd were by far the better team. A couple of deflections and an own goal maybe their reasoning.

The keeper played ok for Everton and the RM. They look like they need an injection of pace and strength.

Not much pace and strength in the women's game outside of a handful at the top of the game

Went today to the ground for the 1st time amazing

As for the football, That Everton team is horrendous, can’t pass can’t shoot can’t keep a ball, one the worse Everton team I’ve seen and that saying something over the last few years

Man U where miles better in every department and deservedly won, the girl who scored twice for Utd M something was the best player on the pitch
