Definitely not close to the first two seasons. I was on the 5th episode just wanting it to end.

First couple of eps of The Last Frontier are okay. The acting ranges from wooden to OTT at the drop of a hat though.

I would have thought they would do a film. The thing that's hard to work out is why they would still be friends. When they were in School it sort of made sense because literally no one else would be friends with them. But once they grew up it makes less sense that they would ever see eachother.

My only thought would be if one of them was getting married and had to put together a stag party and would have no one to invite, other than their old school friends, who they never really liked much anyway.

Maybe they work together, or they're in a band, or live on the same street, or even married a couple of sisters or something. Never really got into it originally, and even though it seems to be universally cherished, I have no idea. Did the Frazier reboot work with Rodney?

Such a great series, kills me how things like 'gangs of london' keep getting renewed and something like 'Kin' was looking dead and buried..

Tho I did give up on 'gangs of london' after first series so I could be wrong on that..

to be fair they have already done two films

probably thought another film was a bit of an overkill and decided to go down a different route
