Yeah, comes across as a player who resolutely refuses to be wound up.

As commentators absolutely LOVE to remind us, even when he’s not having success with the ball, Grealish makes space for others because he’s got 2 or 3 defenders tight to him. Our FBs being utter plop at attacking means that when he’s having no direct influence he’s having no influence at all. In the second half it looked like Garner and later Tim were drifting out to pick the ball up when he was crowded out.

Something we need to work on for sure. In any event made up he got his goal, and highly amused at the nature of it.

This is such an important point. The opposition drops and defends him with two players and it leaves so many opportunities for our worst Offensive player. Myko works hard and puts in a shift but I’m tired of seeing the ball at his feet.
