2025/26 David Moyes

Glasner looked at Moyes at the end and it was like he was saying "You got out of jail there you divvy".
This is what Glaseye saw.

Like it or not, but a top half finish would be great for this club and we are currently on track for that.

People can aspire to more and maybe Moyes isnt the manager for that, but for now, as above, top 10 would be a great "starting" point.
I take top 10 now...we just don't have enough quality in numbers for Europe this season. In fact I take a "normal" season where we do not have to worry about relegation for once in a number of years. If we can get more players in in January, then for sure top 10...otherwise probably 12 or 13th...

Agreed, we have some pretty nasty games coming up, in what is a pretty stacked league this year.

Keeping top 10 is gonna be tough for sure, but give me fighting for 10th over 18th for a season, yano?

I know we’re in a rebuild and it takes time. But plenty of good players turned us down outright because of our standing. If we finish the season uninspired and smack dab in the middle, the rebuild will still happen but way slower. It’s all about results and Europe for top players. Right now, players don’t associate success with us. Sure, success to the fans might be avoiding relegation sooner in the season. But that’s a very sad and low bar.

He needs Europe after the money spent. Its what TFG will demand.

Credit where it's due for the Alcaraz sub.

Credit immediately taken away for not giving Alcaraz more chances

Its totally bizarre and has happened after other motm games where hes dropped.

I was bagging Moyes at half time but credit where it’s due getting Charly on.

I also love it when he’s fuming with eyes bulging out of his head in rage. Really gets the blood pumping.

That is amusing with him and the crowd pumped up and a little snide smile from Alcaraz.

Hes got away with one today.

Palace were so superior at one point it was embarrassing.

Let’s take the win and build on it. We are due a bit of luck at some point.

Alcaraz and Beto put in good performances so he has to take a bit of credit for that, just as he does for the stick he got for the first half performance.

Those 2 should be starting every game together. Theres no partnerships between CF and anyone else.

He needs Europe. Any European competition.

Then he can attract the players for stage 2 of the rebuild.
