Moyes hopefully learned something here. You have to change tactics every match, in-game, in the moment. One size doesn’t fit all. That combo of Ndiaye and Alcaraz really helped Beto as well. I saw enough of Barry today to at least know he shouldn’t start. Needs time as a sub.

Absolutely fantastic. A game of two halves. Palace by far the better team in the first half. They had chances to put the game to bed and they paid the price.

David Moyes deserves a lot of credit for that second half performance - they were like a different team in the second half.

I'm not using "luck" as a pejorative term. The manner of the winning goal owed a little to good fortune, but you make your own luck to some extent. If we weren't attacking and Beto hadn't produced such a good header, it doesn't cause chaos and we don't score. We'll find ourselves getting luckier if we put in 90-minute performances regularly.
