So, so bad again. Everything is so slow, movement is non existent in some areas and the shape the manager wants us to keep has been exploited on numerous occasions by a confident Palace team who aren’t even getting out of first gear and are happy winning long throws. Our front 3 and Barry are all mostly isolated when they do finally get the ball on the floor, which takes some doing. Gana and Garner holding hands, letting Palace drive through the centre of the pitch whenever they want.
Tactical changes and not necessarily personnel changes are desperately needed here, what have you got Davey?…

Formation is the issue. No point having men out wide when they have nowhere to go a 1 man covered by 2 defenders in the centre.

I’d take Dibling off, bring Alcaraz on to play just ahead of garner and gana, play grealish and Ndiaye more central, almost as a 3 with Barry.

I need Moyes to figure this out. He enjoys the status as a top manager, lets see it. Our right side is non existent again, no center forwards in the squad, Grielish looks bored already because hes missing the only person who he trusts to pass to and actually get it back to him, KDH, Nidye has not been himself, Dibling looks scared and Alcaraz has hardly had a look in this season. Figure it out David, your job isnt to run the club, it is to get the best out of the players you have on the pitch.

Yeah, mate. I chalked it up in the beginning to nerves. But we’ve completed an entire half. He should be better after 45’. Now I think he might’ve been a standout on a poor side that looks exposed on a club higher up the table.
He has had one decent pass in the entire half. O’Brien has absolutely no idea how to get the ball to him. Everything is way too slow. Wharton never does anything flash, he just always looks to play the ball forward quickly with only one or two touches before the defense can get set meaning the forwards get the ball in space. Our players refuse to pass the ball forward. They just wait for everyone to be marked then they hit long balls.
