2025/26 David Moyes

Dyche got us out of relegation two seasons on the run under worse conditions than Lampard had, although Frank was successful in his first season, he had a board behind him, not much cop I know, but Dyche and Thelwell were running the club on their own in that second season he kept us up and he would have finished a lot higher up the league only for the two points deductions which he brought the club back from. He had the guts to throw his hand in and admitted he couldn’t take the club forward. That left Moyes with the chance to take over because he left.

The club was in danger of going down under both of them by the time they vacated the building. This isnt a whataboutery. That specific 6 months from Aug to January that i mentioned under dyche is as bad as anything ive seen at Everton. Ever.
Fair enough,I’ll remember him for helping to keep us up two season running and with nothing to spend.

I still think the squad is pretty poor, but I also believe that if everybody plays to their best we can easily beat teams like Palace.

Its a managers job to get the best from the players he has.

Im not expecting him to turn Beto into R9, but its something he needs to work on, Beto and Barry are the key currently, we need Moyes to unlock 1 of them.
I think Moyes has tried what was working until now and we saw the cracks. That is fine. We need to solve it. A lot of the best play we saw last year was 1. When we managed to get Myko and O'Brien in position to actually attack and 2. When Charly and McNeil were firing.

I don't think Dwight is the answer at this point, but both he and Charly have something that KDH does not. They will force the issue and actually make creative plays. KDH does so many things well. We will live and die by him because he controls the games. We need him to be a bit braver.
