2025/26 David Moyes

I know it's going to be a challenging game due to palace's impeccable form but I hope we win not just for the obvious reasons because if not he's going to be even more cautious and nervy than usual afterwards
I still think the squad is pretty poor, but I also believe that if everybody plays to their best we can easily beat teams like Palace.

Its a managers job to get the best from the players he has.

Im not expecting him to turn Beto into R9, but its something he needs to work on, Beto and Barry are the key currently, we need Moyes to unlock 1 of them.

Both. But the difference between them was at least lampard was trying to go forward and win a game. We were having efforts at goal. I think we recorded a few games on the trot with dyche with 0 efforts at goal. We then had to listen to him after games telling all it was everyone elses fault that had been here previously.
Funny how Frank is now back in work and doing well(may have found his level) and dyche is still unemployed.
Dyche got us out of relegation two seasons on the run under worse conditions than Lampard had, although Frank was successful in his first season, he had a board behind him, not much cop I know, but Dyche and Thelwell were running the club on their own in that second season he kept us up and he would have finished a lot higher up the league only for the two points deductions which he brought the club back from. He had the guts to throw his hand in and admitted he couldn’t take the club forward. That left Moyes with the chance to take over because he was a free agent.
Well I , for one , am thoroughly fed up presently.
So you’re correct there .
( incidentally meatloaf is one of the most repulsive culinary offerings I've ever tasted )
What a coincidence !

yep - tomorrow all the moyes haters will stay under there rocks

Let's have it right: they come into this in an unknown position: their first time as a club playing away in Europe then facing 3 days later an away PL fixture.

We should be confident of winning this.
Maybe we should be confident, but after a very poor showing against a very poor Wham team, a good few of us are dreading seeing us throw some more points away at home.

I know they're doing all, but we surely cant be looking at this home game as anything other than a massive chance for 3 points.

Last 20 they'll be flagging badly.

The club was in danger of going down under both of them by the time they vacated the building. This isnt a whataboutery. That specific 6 months from Aug to January that i mentioned under dyche is as bad as anything ive seen at Everton. Ever.

And so will we.

We don’t have an excuse for it, but I can’t remember many games in the last 3 or 4 years we aren’t flagging badly in the last 20 mins.
