Did you watch the interview ?
If you did than you should see why this could be a harder transition for him, with moyes not having a bigger say on who he likes rather then having to chose out of a pool handed to him, could be why we dont have a RB, why he cant stick with one of Barry/Betto, certain players not getting more minutes to show themselves..
I'm not questioning Moyes, I doubt you'd find anywhere that I have, I was just listening to Angus explain the clubs approach moving forward.
I said it could be a crack, I didnt say it would be a crack, he might just have to give an inch on how he likes approaching things.
"
Looking more into the Data and Analytics, an area that Moyes won't happily abide with"
I got the impression from that seemingly definitive statement that there was a solid known reason why Moyes definitely would have issues with their use and was asking what that was. Curious but not curious enough to watch a 30+ minute interview with a CEO so I was hoping you, or anyone, might tell me.
I can understand Moyes not being happy with the results so far but that doesn't
necessarily mean he has major issues with the process. Moyes is long enough in the tooth and with more than enough blots in his own copybook to know that regardless of process there are no guarantees of success in the transfer market.
And I'd argue that 6 games into a season after 1 window is a little early to be drawing
ultimate conclusions on a transfer approach. Without definitive knowledge of who we went for and why those that failed did so then we're all grasping around in the dark to some degree.
For instance there could be any number of reasons we ultimately ended up with Barry and not others but Beto's quality, or lack of, is pretty irrelevant to the current recruitment method.
