I don’t know whether anyone’s seen the furore at Rangers over Thelwell appointing his son as scout or not, but when I read it I was pleased we’d let him go and moved on… till I realised that Moyesy actually appointed David Moyes Jnr as his West Ham scout! Football actually seems to get more nepotistic rather than less…

That being said Davide Ancelloti is the best set piece coach we ever had.

Agreed but at the moment they are pointless - no information is transferred.

They've always been like that. His last press conference was about 72 hours ago there's hardly going to be a load of new questions and new info that's come up since then, I don't know why people always seem to be surprised at how press conferences work.

He certainly had a preponderance of Everton clients in his portfolio at the time.

His brothers agency sorted out the Italian boot camp sites when he was here first time around. His dad was a scout.

I’m sure this has been said many times before but the press conferences are a joke.

Only Giulia asks decent questions and Moyes often doesn’t answer them.

The journalists should ask more relevant, direct questions and not give up if he avoids answering them.

Every week it’s the same soft soaping. A complete waste of time.

One just went on about Pickford and 300 games. Giulia did mention lack of subs and basically Moyes turned into dyche, by bringing up pep and his subs. I wish someone would have asked why no subs when West Ham started to get on top and O’Brien was getting ragged all over the place

And he immediately went on the defensive.

His lack of substitutions - as we all know - are due to not having a clue about what's going on in-game...then he the turns to chuckle heads like Irvine and McKinlay and they dont know either. So we just get like for like subs when a player looks tired or has had a knock.

Subs are all about changing a games flow when it's got away from you. Moyes doesn't even see the change of flow.
