Homepage Article NDiaye Upfront?

I thought we weren't reliving the past anymore? FFS.

I’d rather we gave the current forwards better balls. If Beto likes running in behind then why do we keep playing it short into feet? Also some of the balls we play up are absolutely terrible and it’s back to the dark old days of asking a striker to bring down a diagonal hoof on his head up against two centre backs then chastising him when he doesn’t do it perfectly.

If Moyes wants the team to build up through the phases and have the ball then he needs to play Barry. If he wants to play on the counter then play Beto. Frankly though by the time the game is breaking up and Beto would be more useful he’s already off the pitch and we have Barry on dropping deeper watching through balls flying past him.

Absolutely. It certainly can't be worse. He is also seeing less of the ball at the moment with our Grealish fixation. he would provide smart running and make us a threat I think.
I would like him to be closer to Grealish too...Takes pressure off both of them being doubled up. If not up front, put him at the 10 and move KDH back a bit.

I think there's every chance Ndiaye would be just as isolated just as Beto and Barry have been. I really want to see Ndiaye back on the left, with Grealish as the 10 and KDH moved back into midfield once we serves his ridiculous ban. I think we'd have much better balance and it frees up a slot on the right to give Dibling a go.

Agree with this.
