2025/26 David Moyes

Starting to think Moyes is just the auld cardie wearing dinosaur we all thought he was.

He did an amazing job when he first came in but he’s being found out now.

Plenty of decent young managers about who could do a job… glasner from palace. Ariola from Bournemouth
I very much doubt we could get either of those two now,.

It really wasn’t Davey.
I don't think we played bad at all mate.

Tarki's early booking was detrimental because the whole back line was terrified to throw a challenge in because defensively we were walking a tightrope.

That was a Santo master class mate.

4-5-1 sit in and hit on break.

In the space of a few months we've got from a teams that concedes possession to a team that has to go at teams.

This teams is still massively short in 3 areas in my personal opinion.

Yeah. When you sit back and analyse it we were the dominant team for most of the match. It’s really not that bad a result when you consider our recent form against them.

Maybe, but he dithers so much on making changes. We came out ok in the second half but the game started turning. He should have made subs at that point but left it too long. That’s what really bothers me about him, he never reacts fast enough and leaves things too late.

O'Brien got skinned from about 60 minute mark onwards but what was the solution? Switch Garner to right back, drop Dewsbury-Hall to centre mid and play Alcaraz as the attacking centre mid?

I mentioned in a post above he definitely needs to be more pro active with his subs, without doubt.

We've had Villa and West ham both sit in and hit us on the break so Moyes definitely needs to be abit cuter when we're struggling to break teams down.

I personally think Moyes doesn't trust his bench hence why he's leaving it so late,in his mind the longer his best attackers stay on the more likely we'll get a result.

I think Dibling needed more than 10 minutes today...he needs put more faith in him certainly.
