There`s just something about that last scene with Neil Maskell, when it dawns on him who he is and the look on his face, that got under my skin.
I normally don`t have a problem with horror films, but that one did a proper number on me !
Bit like the other film he’s in, Bull, not sure I could do that one again.
He’s made for theses roles.
He’s terrifying in Utopia if you remember that series. First thing I saw him in.

"The Long Walk"
Had my doubts when i saw a trailer for it a few weeks back but decided to go the Showcase and give it a go and actually quite enjoyed it.
Typical of early Steven King stuff with lots of insight into the characters personalities and a bit of gore thrown in. I've never read the book but might give it a go after watching the film.

First time seeing it on a big screen and it was perfect.
All the little details that get missed at home, Burke's filofax, the stunt pulse rifle ammo counter always reading 42, Wierzbowski and on and on. And the sound!!!
I'm going to have to buy a cinema, can't be doing without that.
Watched Old Guy (2024), which I thought was okay. Then I gave Yesterday (2019) a try and really enjoyed it.

The Quiet Ones (2014)
I enjoyed watching this in the cinema back when it was first released, and it still holds up in my opinion. A quite atmospheric film with a decent cast.
