Happy Ryder Cup eve


I think Europe wins. There aren’t many of the U.S. golfers who have been playing well of late.

I’m really excited to see it though. I grew up not too far from Bethpage and played the Black course several times, though Bethpage Red was more my speed. In those days, the course was in pretty rough shape. It’s been so nice to see it restored to its glory over the past 25-30 years.
 

….from what I can see, it starts on TV tomorrow afternoon so could be pretty much wall-wall viewing for me. It tends to be great sport.

US is odds-on to lift the trophy which is probably about right, but Europe shouldn’t be underestimated. Lines already drawn with US players getting appearance money but Europeans preferring to play for ‘pride’.

I’ll predict the contest will be a tie.

Hopefully a great watch.

Someone needs to ensure Scheffler doesn't win them 4 points. It'll be interesting who goes up against him in the foursomes, four balls. Whether Luke puts Rory and Tommy against him and if they can keep within touching distance and not let him run away with it.

That battle with Scheffler is key imo. If we win that, Europe will win overall imo.
