I don`t think it was the changes in the team that beat us, but more the way we went about things in the first half. We`re playing an out of form team in a cup competition we could do well in, but yet again we don`t take the game to poor opposition, fall behind, still don`t get a move on, bring on the players that would have certainly taken the game to Wolves had they started, and concede a second late on to seal another poor cup effort.

Resting players in winnable Cup ties after a 3 decade trophyless run is absolutely something that should annoy fans.

We all knew beforehand that team couldn't win. It's not outrage - it's something we've seen 20 times before. It's disrespectful to wolves to think wrong can go away there, change over half our team, and still win.

Would be great if those teams played anything like a full strength team along the way, but they do not. This competition has had zero integrity for about 30 years

To add insult to injury he’s probably managed to knock the confidence of a lot of those fringe players.

Surely a player has more chance of doing well if brought into a largely settled and confident team than shoved in the deep end with others trying to figure out how to swim too.

It's Moyesie back to his absolute best. Too cautious even against a really crap team. He'll steady the ship but we'll never win anything under his leadership. Doesnt take enough risks. When did we last absolutely destroy a team with him in charge.

I honestly think it's completely justified. Moyes knows how much this club needs a trophy and he's treating it like a preseason game. The type of game that can drain any optimism out of supporters and after the derby we needed a win against a team who are likely to finish bottom and its 100% on him
