I feel like that is how he has been the whole time with us. Dont get at all why so many keep raving about him. (He may come good in time, but so far while with us ive seen nothing that makes me think he will score, never mind get a shot

The goal threat is a bit concerning now. Tidy player but so was Chermiti. Not seeing any desire to run in behind or get on the end of things.

Might be as I said just a shock to the system with the pace of the game/physicality.

Just seems to coast through games showing zero presence. At least with Beto you're probably getting a lot of effort, many crap touches and perhaps a goal, with this lad I'm just not seeing it, don't want to write him off but yikes, he has to show a lot more to play in this league.

Had zero service...very different to Villarreal when they can actually play football. But yes he looks miles off and zero confidence. Wouldn't surprise me if he is sub at half time

I think he’s just shocked at the step up. Long term I think he’ll be fine but it’s a steep learning curve. It’d be ideal if we had a reliable option to phase him in/out.

Doesn’t help him playing in a weaker side as well.

He cost £30m and we don't have a decent striker mate. This can't be a give him time signing. We need a lot more and very soon.

No I’m fully aware mate, but it looks like it has to be unfortunately.

I think he needs to be playing in the easier home games and protect him away from home/big games until Christmas at least.

He's had a few nice bits of hold up play but the worrying thing for me is there's no standout attribute you can see he will get his chances from.

Whether it be pace, aerial ability, strength, or deceptiveness. I just don't see it neither.

Yeah at the minimum I figured he must have serious pace, but looks awkward sprinting. Doesn't seem to have much of a left foot either. Which is seriously worrisome.
