And Mykolenko. And KDH. And Pickford. And Beto.

But apart from those 7 changes it's exactly the same team.
Myko has been injured, KDH rested but replaced by a completely competent replacement, Beto may well have been dropped and it’s completely normal for sub keepers to play in the League Cup. The best teams don’t have a first 11 they continually rotate virtually the entire team. The Everton team is better than 90% of the teams we have fielded for the last 3 years.

Others seem to forget the multiple relegation battles we have been in.

If we start those players carrying knocks, or whose legs can’t manage as much, and we lose them for months, then we are in a worse position.

We actually have some decent squad depth, which everyone’s banged on about us not having for years, but now don’t want to use it.

Okay, if you personally have a fear of us being in a relegation battle this season to the point you are fine with us putting the cups on a lower priority, then that’s fine. Your stance makes sense given your worry

I however don’t think there’s any chance at all of us getting relegated this season even with some injury issues, and would like us to win a cup, so again I would hope other fans can understand why I’m not happy with what seems clearly to be a weakened team. Especially given we have seen this a lot in the past, and have also seen it with this very same manager

Bench is miles better than what we’ve had as well.

Nothing wrong with the lineup for me.

Get at them early, place is bloody empty.
