Today’s Football 25/26 Season

The standard of referees this season is woeful; that’s as clear a yellow card as you will ever see in the Bournemouth / Newcastle game and yet he’s not given it for a reason only God knows.

Three teams will pull well away and the rest are all a big bag of meh. Top 5 is there for us but I fear the striker situation has us fall

The position we finish in will be as much to do with the officiating, penalties given in certain games don't get awarded in others, look at this Sunderland game, ref books somebody during a corner, but no foul given, Hume took a player out completely, nothing given, it's basically a lottery if your not a scab 6 team

I think I have seen all the teams now, to be honest this league is quite poor,lots of players earning big money for doing the basics and officials that really don't have a clue what they are doing

It's why Liverpool will probably win it again, even without the officials help.

They aren't the best side but they are the most consistent. And when the standard of the league is so poor, that's all you need

It’s gone backwards, and the use of var is a criminal as it ever was.

Having that leeway helps though, if your full back can kick people consistently and not get punished it is a bonus

Artetanyahu is grinding my gears, playing a defensively dodge side in City and acting like were the away side with that midfield.
