We need to stop playing long balls to him to try and win knockdown...

He's not that type of player, direct passes in behind and through balls are what he needs
Ehh, that's exactly what we were doing in the first half. It's easy to defend, completely bypasses our best three attackers, and will only work against lesser teams.

The guy just isn't good enough, and should really only come on when other teams are pressing and we can counter with him.

Dreadful from Beto and not the first time either.
Its like he's man marking their defenders instead of getting away from them and using one of his few attributes, pace.
He wants to tussel with them for every ball and obviously loses out.
Needs a footie brain.

One of the biggest downfalls for the set up when Beto plays, is that his has shown he is okay at running between the lines from deep balls. The problem with this is we spam this move so often with Keane and Tark trying to slot Beto in from the own half. The problem with this is that move is really difficult to pull off but we seem to base our whole set up around this one move because it’s all that Beto is comfortable with.

Disagree, Beto used to battle and fight for the ball. Now he watches it, and gives up if its not right to his feet. Seems unwilling to try and bully anyone.
I think that’s a very kind take on most of his time here, this idea of him bullying people isn’t really based on anything other than the odd burst, more often than not he’s spent most of his time on the pitch looking lost ever since he came.

Nah they were dcl under dyche type punts...give him something to run onto and hes got a chance...
