News of Ex Players

Nathan Broadhead on his way to Wrexham for £10m apparently, hope we added a sell on when we sold him to Ipswich.
15% apparently. We sold him for our classic undisclosed fee but <£1m per ITFC reporting. The reported fee includes lots of add-ons apparently so assume the base is £6/7m which means somewhere in £8/900k range to us initially.

Price’s WBA winning the battle against Broadhead’s Wrexham with his two goals, he looked very sharp in taking them and easily MoTM. Cue the usual GOT raft of ā€œ I said at the time we should never have ā€œ soldā€ himā€ posts. šŸ™‚

….not many get away, but he’s starting to look like one that did. 6ft 4in, didn’t think he was that tall but he’s a terrific size.

In theory not much we could have done about it at the time, but a clearer first team path would obviously have helped. The fact that Price backed himself and chose his own path suggests a youngster with great self belief . This is no bad thing , often a marker of their potential, but at time fans don’t seem to like self belief eg Gordon knocking on Carlo’s door.
