Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Perhaps eventually I'd get tired of constant success, but I'd like to test that theory.

Being an Evertonian to me mirrors life in general, and actually that's part of the appeal.

But I do think, just as life has its ups and downs, we need some ups now. I'm not getting any younger and the next decade feels like one where we have to win something again, even if it's only once.

All the struggles we've had, and come through, must be for something. To win again. It might be the League Cup or the Conference League, but I'd gladly take it. It would still be sweeter than anything the RS do, they don't know the meaning of anything.

I know City fans who literally can't be bothered going to Wembley anymore. I mean lot of that might be cost but his lad is 14 and said he's been Wembley nearly 20 times. Nuts when you consider where they were 30 years ago.

A bit. Familiarity breeds contempt and all that. Generational fans might disagree. Youngsters will be blase. I buzz off real fans winning stuff and think other fans of proper clubs like Villa etc would be the same if we win summat.
Feel a little for the genuine city fans who were there when they were relegated & with them fighting back from league 2 etc, but sadly they have far too many plastics now, just like the rs and the rest of the scabs, these clubs are absolutely soulless entities now.

I’ve got rs mates who used to go who stopped, just like some city fans I know, cost was one thing but the identity and belonging changed and they hate what their club has become.

Many rs can try and pretend this isn’t true, usually the non local ones, but deep down they know what they are now.

I was over the moon for palace winning the fa cup, I wanted Forest to get to the CL, I want any genuine club with genuine fans to do well, if Everton can’t.

Just hope we can win something soon, especially for the younger blues.

Anyway, heard we are signing Juan Roman Riquelme and Muller this week - here we go soon. 👀

Doesn't seem that slow from what I've seen, good movement and technique. Think he'd be a good signing
Agreed, and if the reports of him being available for £10m are true, I think that’s potentially really good value.

A combination of Ndiaye, McNeil, Fellows + a speed merchant or two supplying Barry, Beto and A.N.Other would give us options next season.

Agreed. Barry, Fellows, a speed merchant RW, and another striker (either loan or experience freebie) would be a top window in that area.
