Thiago Almada - really highly rated, think Textor talked about bringing him here if he bought us
Malick Fofana - already linked this summer
Ernie Nuamah - linked all summer last year, quick winger. Looks like he did his cruciate though so could be a long injury potentially.
Georges Mitaukadze - striker with 1 in 3 record and gets assists. Can play out wide on the right also or as a second striker

I think we’re probably never going to quite agree on this one, but for me the biggest thing that’s changed in 40 years has been the relative overall strength of our top two divisions compared to other countries - interestingly, Opta recently declared the Championship the sixth strongest league in all of world football. Stronger than the Portuguese, Netherlands, Brazilian and Belgian top divisions. There’s so much quality there.

However the difference between the PL and the championship is vast
How many teams from the championship that get promoted go straight back down
This season being a relevant one
Great championship players can sometimes be below average PL players

Would imagine that appeal would have to come quickly given the entire fixture list for both Ligue 1 and 2 will be in limbo without it.

If it's later, then they'll start the season in Ligue 2 and the practical outcome is the same.

They might get a points deduction to start next season,it's not as if they've gone into receivership. Think he's selling his stake in Palace to prop up their finances.

They’re just another irrelevant club, it’s just like buying from Brentford - who cares what they do with the money, our only concern is buying good players.

Over a long time we have acquired some excellent players from there.
