Free speech innit. They've not called for violence or criminal activity against anyone, as far as I know.

I personally wouldn't let them play because they musically aren't very good.
that's 70% out of the door then. Eavis will be pleased to massively reduce the carbon footprint of the event so easily.

As for this lunatic, hasn't he got much much more pressing issues dominating his schedule than a rap group on a stage? cost of living, gb energy, grooming gangs, people smugglers, knife epidemic, Ukraine, Atlantic trade, crumbling nhs, reform revolts...

Not a good look for Heir Starver and the British establishment in Ireland. Within days Republican rapper+flag= terrorist Vs self confessed Loyalist paramilitary+ guns etc = civilian. Plus the arrest of a Jewish granny outside a bank for protesting about Gaza and the light touch approach to policing the Loyalist anti-immigrant riots.

It's July in the North. Loyalist terror flegs will be flown publicly even outside police stations without a single charge or even removal. Highlighting the traditions of 'Perfidious Albion' for the Zionist lobby is an example of the inherent weakness of Starmers red tories.

At a gig in November 2023 one of them made the statement “Kill your local MP” whilst on stage. I would say that can be classed as calling for violence or criminal activity. When you consider that two MPs have been murdered in recent history, it’s not the smartest thing to be advocating for.

The whole thing with one of them facing charges over waving a Hezbollah flag on stage is clearly politically motivated due to them calling out the genocide in Gaza for what it is.

It should be down to each event organiser whether they are allowed to perform or not. I’d personally be disappointed if Glastonbury bow to any outside pressure.

In that case, bin them off.

Without the controversy, would anyone even know who they are? I listened to about 5 minutes of a live gig and they were crap.
