Transfer Rumour Kyle Walker

Every player we are linked to will be deemed a terrible idea by most on here.

But then most on here derided the idea of Moyes coming back as a terrible idea.

I remember el pivote saying that james Rodriguez was going to be cack and cant cut it in the PL. Then turned out to be the best player to of played for us in decades.

Then said iwobi would be amazing for us and he turned out to be horse droppings.

El pivote is now the head scout at Swansea. So no one has a clue

By the looks of him, the only scouting he's done is the menu of his local kebab house.

It's the time of the window where agents are driving the rumors. The "link" for most of these is really not that strong, imo.

Specifically with this one, no one should be excited about getting a 35 year old RB who was told he was done playing at his current club, loaned out and objectively failed at that one as well.

This is so so wrong it hurts my eyes

For about 15 matches.

He’s still better going forward than Jake, forget stats, I’ve watched him play for 15 years with my eyes. He helps more in attacking situations.

I’m not massively sold on him btw, and I don’t think anyone is expecting an exciting attacking FB!

(Stats are hard to compare btw, Youngs goal was a free kick. Would he be taking it if we had De Bruyne or Foden on the pitch? Of course not)
He may have got forward more but how much of that is because City are forward more?
I've also watched him a long time and am certain he has deteriorated in both directions, I'm sure you'd agree with that?

If we get him we get him, I trust Moyes enough, but he'll expect to play every game and O'Brien's improvement will be stalled again for a fading RB with no future for us as he's not ousting Tarky or Branthwaite.

I'd prefer if we kept Young as he covers both sides and was happy to be sub. Far less wages too

There's no reason why O'Brien can't be aiming to oust Tarkowski, none at all. To be blunt, if he's genuinely not good enough to oust an average PL journeyman who's 33 and coming off the back of a serious injury, he really can't be all that good himself.

Has a good chance to be starting cb at the start of the season with jb snd tark both coming back from injuries

If Gana goes for any reason we’re lacking leadership. There’s Pickford and Tarkwoski on the pitch (assuming Coleman doesn’t play much) that’s it really.

I wish we had a few more average journeyman like Tarkowski who is an excellent captain into the bargain.

26, we only got him because he was injury prone

15, he was pretty gash towards the end of the season.

It's his MO, starts of strong, injury prone, and he's a one dimensional player.

It's why he's moved from club to club, it's why he's played for a litany of randoms since he left Everton.

If he was as good as everyone thinks he is, he wouldn't be in Mexico.

Calling him the best player in decades is cringe-worthy.

That's very harsh on JT mate, wouldn't agree here with you at all, i think he's brilliant, one of our best and most influential players.
