You don't have to be 35 to offer leadership though. We've really got to move away from this type of signing, particularly in a position which has been crying out for improvement for 5+ years.

He's solid and can cover both flanks. A 3+1 type deal would be fine for him.

I can begrudgingly live with Walker on a 1 year deal as it allows us the option to address the position long-term next summer. Walker-Peters ties you into mediocrity in the position for the next 3 years

Always liked him for Spurs and City but he relied on pace a LOT, and that's now on the wane even if he's still quicker than what we have. He also didn't have to defend a lot at City.

I agree with you, on the basis that I thought he was alright whenever I have watched Fulham. Unlike our current right-backs, he has a bit of pace and can cross a ball into the box.

Still will be quicker than the majority of our current players. Especially those in his position. The 'success' of this potential short term signing absolutely is dependant on how we strengthen elsewhere in my eyes. If this is as good as it gets, not good at all. If we strengthen elsewhere at the standard we're all hoping for, this isn't so bad.
