The Drunk Thread

I've had a few, I can't deny, Peerless, peerless again, they never rest on their laurels. Decided to have a tasting of last year's quince brandy, blackberry brandy and sloe gin to see if they're ready to be bottled. I think the answer is yes, whether it was a good idea or not we'll find out in the morning.
*note to self : use pub measures next time.

blackberry brandy sounds divine. Not fancy blackberrying up the gin also? Know someone that made skittles gin, it was sweet, the habanero gin was something else. Imagine radiator system cleaner, an additive you flush through your radiators to clean and collect gunk and whatnot, then cycle it out and refill system. My best guess is that habanero chili gin is the human equivalence of that.

The first time I've made it, it's absolutely divine, just tastes of blackberries with a kick. I've got the recipe somewhere, I'll post it when I can be arsed.

I made the mistake of having a few too many last Sunday. I should have known better, seeing as I'm working 7-4 all week and needed to be up at 6 - a work pattern I've never done before and one I'd strongly prefer not to have to.

Was at a Japanese BBQ place and the free-flow beer was just an extra £5-6, with each individual beer being about £2.50, so it was rude not to accept the free-flow option. Felt rough as anything Monday morning, not a headache or anything, not even the beer poos, just really worn out and knackered - right at the worst possible time at the start of the week. Took me until Wednesday to properly feel better, haha. Now it's nearly 9am and I am so excited for a relaxing weekend of absolutely no drinking.

Signs of approaching 40. ;)
