MOTD

couldnt give a feck about motd, I was at my lads footy when the game was on, I saw each goal just after it happened, highlights at half time, all via ESPN score centre on my phone.

motd has had it's day imo, most of us only put it on cos it's footy and we put all footy on, but these days I just cba with motd.

The commentator did but I meant the post-match analysis. If they did I didn't hear it anyway.

All I'm saying is there were three games on tonight and ours got the most coverage. Yet they did absolutely no analysis that showed what Everton DID do, only what United DIDN'T do.

Shearer did mate in the analysis. I just can't blame them for discussing how United dropped two points, as that is what happened and they're involved in the title chase, with the result leading to the biggest Manchester derby arguably of all time.

The first comments they made were about how Everton were fantastic on the day, then they moved on to more important matters. It's basically a form of journalism what they do, and as with journalism, a terrorist attack is bigger news than a kitten giving birth in Bournemouth. The big issue takes priority. It's not about impartiality or fairness, it really is common sense.

I honestly don't usually care what the Beeb say -- let me get that straight (I've had threads on here before laughing at their 'impartiality') --and I really didn't expect or demand equal coverage. Just one bit of analysis from the 'experts' showing why maybe one of our FOUR goals at OLD TRAFFORD against the CHAMPIONS might have been quite good.

Overall the league is the bigger picture and so are United, as always, and fair enough. But don't you think even the neutral public like seeing an underdog do well against the much-maligned, ever-present, title-monopolising behemoth that is United? Maybe even they'd like to see 30 seconds analysis on why Jelavic's movement is good or how Fellaini is so dominant and influential. The public aren't all United fans, but they are all football fans.

I really do understand how the bigger issue takes priority, but it shouldn't take 100% of the coverage! Can you not see where I'm coming from?

RFUS! Where the **** have you been?

Shearer said at one point about the s**te: 'Blackburn have scored more goals than them, Everton have scored more, WBA have scored more...etc. The teams above them have also scored more!'

You can get too sensitive about this stuff though : )

What did Robbie Savage say about the ****e? He is getting fearful abuse on twitter.

I knew they'd be foaming at the mouth about that. He said something about Liverpool fans "need to get real" and accept they are not a top team anymore. Correct, but probably a bit unnecessary.

If anything their goals were factors of our defence not clearing their lines when they should have, whereas our goals were clinical, we deserved more credit than what we got, the first 40 minutes we were the better side but they see the match as 2 points dropped for SAF instead of a never say die team spirit that we have in our squad which got us back from 4-2 down, very similar to the 3-3 last season as well where we could have pinched it in the final moments

It was one of the better MOTD assessments. But I don't think their defending for our goals was any worse than ours for united's.

I like Robby Savage he makes me chuckle, listening to him on the MotD what he said was actually very true. he compared a few seasons ago they had Gerrard Alonso and Mascerano. now gerrard and the two kids. he made the point that they just arent a top prem team- good in the cups but not top prem. very true.the s**te just dont like it when they dont hear what they want to hear. Koff reds**te you deluded f**ks, Robby Savage also said the other week that his biggest regret in football was he never pulled on the shirt for the toffees. said he had the chance but never took it and regrets it to this day. Nice comment Robby.
