New Everton Stadium

The spurs stadium though is vastly more complex then ours with technology. That pitch alone 😲 it's madness. I'm hoping most contractors would have done a lessons learnt.

This isn't entirely true, yes they have the whole pitch moving thing, but technology wise we may be a little further ahead. The issues at Spurs were caused by design changes and poor revision control. I believe that the entire fire alarm and life safety systems had to be rewired due to changes that had happened throughout the build, but they hadn't been picked up by the installation team as they were working off old drawings. That may not have been the only service to be affected, but thats the one I heard about. This is the risk with meddling after design freeze, something that Spurs did a LOT of.

Does anyone know if the Capacity for the time being is definitely going to be 52,888 or likely to be a little bit over 53,000? I think I heard Spurs announced an initial figure and then it went up when they actually built it.

Everton always seem to say 52,888 though so I assume it will stay as that.

Stadium looked stunning this morning. Any news of delayed season starts?

Spurs stadium capacity is officially 62,850 but their highest attendance last season was 61,645 v Arsenal.

Someone who worked on site said it was just over 53k mate and that's what he was told by LOR people at the end of the build.

They also panicked and threw stupid money to bring bodies on the job which led to sabotage for people to prolong the cash cow it became.

Probably 9th or 10th August
Would have been nice before then, and we managed to get a few pre-season games there, 3 or 4 games with full attendance at £10 a head would have been a nice money spinner. That horse bolts after this year there will be no full attendance in subsequent years.
