They're waiting for bad news, an international crisis, or a world war to announce this deal on the quiet.Dragging this out aren’t they ffs.
Should have been punted with the rest of the rejects.
I thought you were going to say waiting for bad news so they can cheer us upThey're waiting for bad news, an international crisis, or a world war to announce this deal on the quiet.
Nothing short of the 4 minute alarm of impending nuclear oblivion would be sufficient to bury this bad news. They're waiting for bad news, an international crisis, or a world war to announce this deal on the quiet.
Or they could be waiting for the bid number from Chelsea/Man Utd for JB...Nothing short of the 4 minute alarm of impending nuclear oblivion would be sufficient to bury this bad news.
Ignoring the last game of the seasonUnder no circumstances should his deal be renewed. The impact on the team when he comes in is testament to that. Just walk away
If it wasn't already clear, it should be crystal clear now that he'll ultimately end up staying on a reduced terms contract. They're obviously just tying up loose ends before announcing it.
Said it in the Summer thread but as a 4th choice it's fine. Not many of us like him but we can't fix all our problems in one window and unless Branthwaite leaves, CB is one of the positions where we don't need to prioritise until next summer. If it wasn't already clear, it should be crystal clear now that he'll ultimately end up staying on a reduced terms contract. I think we are remembering the first 6 games of the season.Ignoring the last game of the season
Two wasn't it? Anyway, he is perfectly good when we don't play a high line and as a squad player for the next twelve months then why not?Ignoring the last game of the season

Reduced terms I'm happy enough, personally. He can come in and do a job, he just can't be relied on as a starter.

If he wants to stay, I’d keep him personally. He’ll take a wage cut and won’t demand to start every game - when he does, he’s an able deputy and a top pro.
Unbelievable...all of you.Two wasn't it? Anyway, he is perfectly good when we don't play a high line and as a squad player for the next twelve months then why not?
