2024/25 David Moyes

So a super computer has ran the 25/26 premier league table predictions and has us down as finishing 15th on 46 points. I think Moyes will get us higher up than that.
Seem a bit early for predictions seeing no ones really bought any players in that could impact the calculations.

Good article here with Boyland interviewing McKinlay on the management teams approach to the team and players since they came in.

I'm drawing encouragement from his meticulousness. We will need this in spades for recruitment in the coming weeks.

We have made obvious mistakes with recruitment in recent years, we have to be thorough in our approach and recognise all manner of red flags.

Sergio Conceicao sacked by Milan after 5 months. He was a popular shout here to replace Dyche i think.

Jep, he was. Milan is a toxic place to go atm. Time is a factor in today's football, especially if you have a distinct play-style like Conceicao.

Won them a trophy, got them into a cup final, but also went from 6th to 8th in the league.

What a complete waste of computer time. You might as well ask the super computer to predict who's playing who in the fourth round of the F. A. Cup before the draw has been made for Round 3.

What is a "super computer" anyway? Does it wear a cape and have a big letter 'S' on its front?

….i remember Jagielka saying how much they worked on defending set pieces, i don’t think we conceded from a corner for two seasons.

When we sacked Dyche and brought in Moyes, there were people in the media saying “what’s the point, Moyes is the same as Dyche” and I had friends parroting that nonsense, now I just show them this;

Most pleasing thing here is 19 goals conceded in that half a league. Across a full season that's 38 which would have been less than anyone except Arsenal.
