Our need for a second striker that isn't absolutely crap outweighs our need for a superstar winger, I get that. But there are actually only three years between Delap and Mbuemo. Delap is 22 and Mbuemo is 25, but Mbuemo's goal scoring and assists record absolutely wipes the floor with Delap. Mbuemo got 20 goals and eight assists this season!

goal scoring mate i mean ye your right

he’s been great - i just see delap more of sticking in you know goals like a poacher etc

either is an upgrade on dcl

to fight with beto for the slot

Totally agree that he’d be a great signing. He’s one that will go to Newcastle or Man Utd though - different scenario to Delap for me

Very few players worth it in the Dutch Eredivisie at the moment (in my opinion ofcourse).

At Feyenoord there are two or three players who might be ready for the PM: Quinten Timber (central midfielder), Igor Paixao (winger, best player) and David Hancko (central defender).

Ajax has Jorrel Hato (left wingback or left central defender). Very hot prospect but probably out of our league at the moment. The rest of the Ajax squad is mediocre at best (and I say this as an Ajax-fan 😞). Maybe Taylor but he looks like another Davy Klaassen.

PSV is by far the best team at the moment. Tilman (ACM), Saibari (Attacking midfielder/winger), Lang (winger, talented but a clown) and maybe Schouten (DM) might be worth a shot.

Nothing special at the lower teams

Of these players I would be over the moon if we get Hato and would also be quite happy with Paixao.

He did pretty well under Van Persie (Feyenoord changed manager halfway through the season) but Feyenoord was all about Paixao to be honest. Paixao managed 16 goals and 10 assists in 34 matches. Was unstoppable at times. And they looked a lot better side when Timber was playing (he was injured quite a while this season).
