No. Apparently they have a £100m war chest before any sales. God alone knows how these clubs get a way with it.

That's £100m outlay this year too. With amortisation, they'll be going big. If they get sales their spending will be off the charts.
 
I’d say Chelsea’s hand is strong considering they can offer him Chsmpions Lesgue & a very healthy wage.

Can they guarantee him enough starts though?

That point at the moment seems to be our only advantage over the rest…

Plus he would like to move back in the north west which would rule London/chelsea out.

Beto can think whatever he wants at the end of the day Beto just about an average PL forward, most other teams wouldn't have him as first choice.

I reckon that’s a lie by United - their transfer debt currently is way over 300m and it will surely have to get to the point the PL sanction them for PSR

….no club will ‘guarantee starts’, they will say what their plans are but ultimately players have to earn game time.

Delap likes to bully and bustle his way up the pitch with the ball, he’s competent with the ball at his feet and does join play but has a lot to improve, he leaves a foot in now and then and roughs up defenders but he’s absolutely nowhere near Lukaku’s ability at scoring when we got him. Does Beto score 10/11 goals for Ipswich? I think he does.

you know it’s fairly likely we’ll never sign a striker again with a scoring record as good as Lukaku’s

he was one of the best goalscorers in world football

and our fans moaned every week
