Don’t see it myself, Gordon is massively overrated. Certainly isn’t living up to his transfer fee. McNeil despite his inadequacies has more assists in less matches and only two fewer goals this season. Gordon is in a better side no doubt but I don’t see him as anything special and can’t for the life of me see the rs buying him.

Exactly so they have to accept anyone who offers £30 million and they can then speak to the player. So why would you offer anything more when it makes no difference whatsoever. It's down to Delap from the clubs who offer the release clause.

McNeil is at what 15 assists and 14 goals in a much better side. I would say they are not too far apart in all honesty, Gordon is overhyped, McNeil isn’t.

One is 24 and the other 25 so not much between them at all you could even argue that Gordon had one inflated season last year and has returned to normal this time and of course a lot of his involvements will be penalties that he dived for.

Gordon has had a stop start season but he was excellent for them last season
