2024/25 David Moyes

Well thats the only way we get the 80m in that Forest did last Summer.
Well we are about to pocket 147 mil ? In Prem prize money , plus some wheeling and dealing from Texas Dan in sponsorship deals .
Huge wages off the books another wayward PRS spend out the way , Maupays money and possibly a few smaller sales puts us in a far better position .

Of course it can be done, we just need to sell Branners.

But im not even saying it cant be done, it can be done and it will be done, im just saying, we will need some cheap squad fillers, if that is DCL, Keane or any of the other out of contract players, then so be it.

The hope is that instead of them being "first choice", they just become squad fillers.

Personally, I would sell the whole squad bar 5 players and start brand new.
I’d sell every single one. Everyone is guilty by association.

I'm grateful that he kept us up but the return of David Moyes as manager was a depressing and retrograde step. New owners new stadium but Moyes as manager again.

I just don't see David Moyes taking us where we want to go as a club. I obviously hope to be proven wrong though!
He won’t take us to where we need to be, but he’ll be able to get us to the airport without any fuss. We’d still be waiting for the 500 bus from town to JLA if Dyche was still here.

In short, the fella after Moyes will hopefully be the one to reap the benefits.

Bit worrying when he said he'd like to keep them all .
Same players got us into that position in the 1st place.
He may think he's changed them but they could revert to type at any time.

Chance for a major reset , just do it Moyst.

Didn’t he say elite players for an elite stadium. Now turns out he wanted to keep the squad together. Hopefully he was just being nice as many? are moving on.

Think moyes just being realistic

Anyone who seriously thinks we will buy 8 or 9 players we need, at the quality they are needed to be needs to take a maths class

I think he’ll stick with any out of contracts on reasonable wages just for numbers

He’ll bring in a couple of un-exciting cheapos he trusts, probably from West Ham

Think he’ll save any war chest for a couple of quality players in the most important places or that actually want to come

And you know what? I’m ok with that!

As long we

Actually have a full squad
It’s a bit better than this seasons
We ain’t repeating the mistakes of the last ten years

We can go into the new stadium in a stable place and progress whilst all the organisational gets sorted out and grow into the place chasing the top rather than running from the bottom
