They went full in to win Europe because they were having a shocking domestic season. It paid off tonight, they end their wait for a trophy and got a CL place, but it remains to be seen if they are going to move forward next season. If the teams coming up are anyway prepared united could be in for a world of hurt next season. Leeds are usually good for a season before they return to the championship, so hopefully United can get into a bigger mess next season.

Very much a battle between the 4th and 5th worst teams in the PL. An awful awful game, but a massive prize for Spurs.

Seems odd only bettering 3 of the worst teams to ever grace the division in league form, but getting a £100m bonus and kudos to attract players due to this win.
