But im not surprised at all.

Putting any posts out on the internet and letting people message you privately is leaving yourself open to it pal.

The Internet is full of teds, this isn't something brand new she's not aware of.

The possibility is there any time you post anything and let people message you.

Would she be getting those messages without putting the post out with the sky dig? Maybe, but we know for a fact that's what happened first.

What’s been sent to her is completely unacceptable. Everyone agrees on that point from what I can see.

But it is ok to also acknowledge her role in this. She’s taken a dig at the fans, that much is obvious.

Again, to reiterate NO abuse should be sent to ANY player or family EVER.

But, it was a silly thing to say. Players family members have done this sort of thing before. It’s very naive to believe that it will ever go down well, so don’t even do it in the first place. They also have to be responsible.

He is injured prone and cannot score goals.

He dragged his contract out hoping a team like Newcastle made a bid. It never happened. And it’s like he wanted to be one of the top earner at the club dispite being crap for a long time.

Absolutely ruined any chance of him having a good send off, regardless of ups and downs in his career he's been at Everton since he was in his late teens/early twenties. Scored some historic goals.

Expect this behaviour from RS fans, heartbreaking seeing Toffees be racist and making death threats

Collectively as fans we owe him a massive sorry for this

Let's also be honest here and state that this isn't the first time his camp has had a pop at the support for whatever reason. His dad had a few comments when he got in the England squad.

Isn't every football player going to get criticism online? I don't know why it would be any different for Dom.

I don't recall too many other players having their family members posting digs online tbh.

Because it wasn't just "defending her husband". If it was just celebrating his goals and saying "We're proud of you" then nobody would be saying anything she has done has led to this situation.

It was the little pop she added of "They might not shout it but we're proud every day"

There's no avoiding the fact that's a very clear implied dig at the support.

I’m really sick of this MUSTN’T HAVE A POP AT THE FANS thing tbh. If even was a dig at the fans it was such a tiny one that you’d have to be an unbelievable snowflake to do anything other than shrug your shoulders or maybe raise a quizzical eyebrow. But these keyboard tough guys are always the most sensitive to the slightest hint of something being sent their way.

We tend to play better when he’s in the side and I think under Moyes he would have improved his goal output. I also think this striker market this summer is going to be an absolute horror.

It’s not that I think he’s amazing, it’s just hard to see us improving on him without gambling on a player abroad. When Delap is going to United the striker pool clearly isn’t oversaturated.

I get what you're saying but I think this abuse has crossed a line most abuse hasn't, death threats to babies is sickening
