2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Wasn't one of his gripes that the fans had never had a song for him. Bit silly if you ask me.
I think based on his and his mrs comments, then they certainly think that Evertonians should be eternally grateful for the return he has provided during his time at Everton... checks notes.... 71 goals in 9 seasons (273 games). If you do the math then that is almost 1 goal per game.... Thank you Dom.

I will not comment on what he is now or what he could have been. One thing I wish is that we could quit hurling dog's abuse at our youth and players that have been with us since early in their careers. It's one of the things that bothers me the most about our fanbase with the amount of stick that Tom and Dom got during their time here. I absolutely think he needs to get out of dodge and see if he can salvage his reputation again, but I hope after the new stadium our support can improve with the way we treat our own. Good luck Dom. Get out for your own sake.

If I'd been getting pelters for months on end on social media I think I'd probably be a bit defensive too. I'm not sure what happens to people when they get the anonymity of online platforms but they lose all sense of civility. It's easy to say that people should turn the other cheek but if I was being constantly harassed then, sooner or later, I'd probably lose my wig.
I mean they're giving her husband pelters over his job performance, which tbh was well earned on the results of it.

If they get defensive over it and engage these beauts with more posts it does kind of bring the unwanted attention with it.

There's no defending it but when you put yourself out there this is what can happen.

I can't stress enough how much it's best for both parties if he moves on. The only reason he's stayed here is because he missed out on the big move he thought he was getting around the time he had that purple patch under Ancelotti.

You can see it in the posts from his post wife and in the way he himself looks disinterested on the pitch. They clearly feel hard done by the cards they've been dealt so the time to part ways is here.

"There's no defending it"

But they brought it upon themselves, apparently.

You don't see a contradiction in those statements?
