I just know lads working on it - I've posted on here plenty over the years about the timeline, and was spot on

I've seen photos and videos from the hospo bits and the 'bowels' of the place, as of last week, and there's a reason why Everton aren't showing it off whatsoever

I’d be amazed nothings come out on social media or forums if’s it’s as bad as you make it sound and there’s photos.
Any none Everton supporting trades people would take great pleasure in taking the P given ½ a chance.

Would mocking the club and the stadium construction not place their employment, or at least their workplace standing, at risk? I.e. not wanting to bite the hand that feeds them.

First three games will be away. This will then take us to an international break. First game in the new stadium will be mid to late September. Hospitality/dinning sections still need a lot of work. Also still trying to sort an access road through the UU site next door for the owners/big wigs in corporate to get into and out of the stadium quickly.

Maybe we'll have to go back to Anfield for a few games

Surely if there was going to be any sort of major delay Everton would have announced it by now. Would be incredibly embarrassing to do all that yesterday but potentially play at Goodison at some point next season…

Got the boys in, local community all chipped in. I just gave them a sob story that our old landlord spunked 500m and was skint so couldn't finish it and that our new landlord was stuck in Texas and couldn't make it over until August.

Nick and his crew were more than happy to come in and finish the job off.

And they made a special room for Seamus

Probably if they were stupid enough to put their grid or their colleagues on it, or shared something from their own accounts.

But I can imagine a scenario where someone wouldn’t put their or their colleagues in that position and then sending an image or clip to a mate who doesn’t work there who might then share it on social media.

The biggest shame about Sunday for me to be honest. As good as the atmosphere was, and as nice a day as it was weather-wise, it would have been so much better at night to say goodbye, ending with a firework spectacular. Fireworks in the daytime is possibly the dumbest thing I've ever seen in my life.
